LIEW CHEE HEAI 劉 志 海

 

I was born in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia in 1975

I spent my young adulthood in my home town Kepong,a place where with cheeful sunshine and rainforrest and have been resident for over 25 years.

After my diploma at Kuala Lumpur College of Art,major in fine art,I started my photography career and volunteering while dudring travel in 1998.

My photography took me to many places,South East Asia,India,Turkey,Middle-East Asia,Iran,Nepal,Hong Kong,Japan.I believe in composing my photographs in the viewfinder,I like the feeling of silent and surreal behind the lens,try to develop a world that allow me to express what i feel.

Today,I live in my studio with my wife and daughter in Miyagi,Japan.
